Deepak Agarwal, Director AIETS answers, You must attempt questions which you are confident about. You must take chances only in questions where you have doubt among 2 options. Blind answering is not advised.

Deepak Agarwal, Director AIETS answers, It depends on your confidence level. But you should take atleast 5-6 Mock tests in last 15 days. Note analysis of these tests is very important. Vikram asked, How do I score high marks in Physics?
Soumya Banerjee, CEO, Attano answers, Hi Vikram, the approach we suggest (as mentioned to Himanshu) is a thorough chapter level revision followed by subject-level tests. Remember to keep your cool and take each question as it comes; don’t let yourself get stressed.

Himanshu asked, Chemistry is weak how do i make it strong
Deepak Agarwal, Director AIETS answers, For 2013, it is too late to think about it. Revise those chapters you are confident about and attempt the questions you can easily answer in the exam.

Vikram asked, How do I score high marks in Physics?
Deepak Agarwal, Director AIETS answers, While attempting the paper go through the paper in 3-4 minutes and mark those questions which you are 100% confident of solving, followed by the ones which you are less confident about. You must not attempt even a single question which you are not sure of as it might consume a lot of time of yours. If Chemistry and Maths are your strong areas allocate some more time to these sections.

Himanshu asked, Chemistry is weak how do i make it strong
Soumya Banerjee, CEO, Attano answers, Start your revision at by going over all chemistry chapters and highlighting key points. Take subject-level tests and attempt model papers. These should help…

PriyankaDas asked, I do not also have a mentor/tutor. How do I know my responses to the questions are correct
Soumya Banerjee, CEO, Attano answers, Hi Priyanka, technology today allows for experiences that weren’t possible before. Interactive tests give you scores and instant feedback on the correct solution.

PriyankaDas asked, I do not also have a mentor/tutor. How do I know my responses to the questions are correct
Deepak Agarwal, Director AIETS answers, At this stage you must refer tests/ materials which have detailed solutions/ answers.

Vikram asked, I am a bit weak in Physics. How can I improve my scores for Physics?
Deepak Agarwal, Director AIETS answers, For 100% conceptual clarity follow Disha Publications 4 Textbooks written by D C Gupta. The books are easy to understand and focus on building fundamentals.

JS asked, should i allocate hours to different subjects in a day or should i complete one chapter and then move to the next subject
Deepak Agarwal, Director AIETS answers, There is no rule as such. But is is good to allocate hours to each subject. In the last few days spend more more time on revision and consolidation. Do not study new topics. Read Toppers Secret of Success which comes as a part of our product “Ultimate Revision Pack for JEE 2013″ by AIETS and Attano.

PriyankaDas asked, I do not have a printer at home, the broadband connectivity is not reliable, how can I prepare well by studying online?
Soumya Banerjee, CEO, Attano answers, Hi Priyanka, you do not need a printer to study with Attano. Once you have downloaded the material onto your device it will work even without an internet connection.

PriyankaDas asked, I write from Guwahati, Assam. I am doing the self study in preparing for IIT JE main, is there any way that I can experience real exam environment to help me understand my timing for the actual day
Deepak Agarwal, Director AIETS answers, Set your body clock by giving Mock Tests at your house at the same time (as the actual JEE paper). Another platform can be online platform. You must try the “Ultimate Revision Pack for JEE 2013″ developed by AIETS & Attano as it provides topic wise tests, followed by full tests.

SE asked, hi what are the best books to prepare for JEE
Deepak Agarwal, Director AIETS answers, For Physics refer Disha Publications Textbook series by D C Gupta. For Chemistry you must read Dr. O P Agarwal books For Maths refer books from K C Sinha, R D Sharma, Arihant Publication books

SE asked, hi what are the best books to prepare for JEE
Soumya Banerjee, CEO, Attano answers, There are several books that you can use. However, what you need now (given that there is just one fortnight) for the exam is a last minute revision pack which gives you a combination of chapter-level revision, subject-level tests and an interactive mock exam similar to the real world experience. You can evaluate our pack at www.attano.com/jee-prep (if you just gave your board exams) and www.attano.com/jee if you are giving it for the second time

gowthamam asked, Dear Deepak & Soumya, it is nice to see such an initiative from you. How many mock tests should I take before the JEE?
Deepak Agarwal, Director AIETS answers, It depends on your confidence level. But you should take atleast 5-6 Mock tests in last 15 days. Note analysis of these tests is very important. Most of the students ignore the analysis. The analysis, if done seriously, will definitely highlight your weak areas.

MMSINGH asked, HI SIR WHAT WILL BE EXPECTED CUT OFF FOR JEE MAIN FOR QUALIFIYING IN 150000 STUDENT FOR JEE ADVANCE
Deepak Agarwal, Director AIETS answers, We expect a cut-off of 55-60% for JEE Main. Please keep this in mind while attempting the paper.

Deepak Agarwal, Director AIETS says,  I thank you all for your questions. I hope we have answered your queries. Thank you very much.

Soumya Banerjee, CEO, Attano says,  Thankyou everyone and all the best for the JEE.
